Fordham College Undergraduate Research Symposium Is Coming!

Dear Students:

Please join us in a day of celebration of undergraduate research!

On Wednesday, April 21 from 12:00 pm – 5:30 pm, Fordham College at
Rose Hill will host the annual Undergraduate Research Symposium in
the McGinley Center. Over 150 of our most outstanding students from
across the humanities, the sciences, and the social sciences will
present their original academic research through conference papers
and poster sessions.

We would be delighted if you could join us for all or part of the day
to support your peers and learn more about the exciting research
opportunities that are taking place at Fordham. Conference
presentations will be held from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. At 3:00 pm, Fr.
McShane will address the participants and audience, and light
refreshments will be provided. Poster presentations will be held
from 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm.

United Student Goverment Election Results 2010

Congratulations to the winners of the 2010 United Student Government Elections! While these have not been officially certified, they are the unofficial tally as of 7:00 PM on March 30th, 2010. Certification can begin no earlier than 5:00 PM tomorrow.

USG ELECTIONS-NOW IS YOUR TIME!

Dear Friends,

The work of a government takes the strength of a campus. Run for United Student Government and become the leaders of tomorrow.

United Student Government will be hosting three information sessions next week to discuss the upcoming elections for the 2010-2011 school year. These are not mandatory but it is strongly encouraged that you attend.

The information sessions will be in McGinley 234 on :

March 1st at 1:00 PM
March 2nd at 1:00 PM
March 3rd at 7:30 PM

Additionally, if you know you want to run and would like to begin completing your candidate packet, you can pick them up at any time outside the USG office (McGinley 203). Please make sure to complete the Candidate Declaration Form PRIOR to getting any signatures.

The first mandatory meeting will be on March 10th. Completed Candidate Packets will be due at 7:30 PM in Keating 1st that night. Formal Campaigning as defined in the Election Code will begin immediately following that meeting.
